Nogomet

Nogomet is the term used in several languages, including Croatian and Serbian, to refer to the sport known as football or soccer in English. It is a team sport that involves two teams, each consisting of eleven players, competing to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. It is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). The objective of nogomet is to score more goals than the opponent within a designated period, typically 90 minutes, divided into two halves. The sport is widely recognized and played globally, being one of the most popular and celebrated sports, with various leagues, tournaments, and events culminating in the FIFA World Cup. In the context of HR, promoting team sports like nogomet can foster teamwork, collaboration, and physical well-being among employees, enhancing workplace morale and engagement.
